Warning To All: My entire life has been derailed by NaRa Restaurant! From the moment I bit into my first NaRa Spicy Tuna over a decade ago, I have been hopelessly addicted to not just their sushi but their entire menu. If I weren't such a broken shadow of my pre-NaRa self, I would demand NaRa sauces be tested for addictive substances like crack except 10X more addictive than crack. Please believe me I've tried to stop, I even tried to escape by moving over 1,500 miles away, but all that accomplished is now every sushi restaurant in Alaska knows that their rolls suck compared to the NaRa's in Billings Montana. I could go on and on about my plight. Suffice it to say, I'm now in my thirties, I live in a basement apartment a few blocks from the NaRa, I work two jobs to support my NaRa addiction, and I recycle aluminum for my rent and utilities. So, if this lifestyle of gluttonous sushi abandon sounds appealing to you, by all means eat at NaRa Restaurant. I recommend everything on the menu with a glass of Sapporo and some hot Sake!

One of my favorites. Sushi in a land locked state used to be a sketchy venture, but Nara has consistently delivered quality food ever since I was a kid. Great portions, quality product with a real friendly environment. I love this place.

I was in town for a business trip and am a big fan of sushi, so my coworkers directed me here.
The atmosphere is really great, I sat at the bar and talked to the chef for probably three hours over the course of my meal and the evening. Sushi is great, the rolls are large and very fresh tasting, the nigiri is really good as well. Dave is awesome, he loves his work and what he does, and he is a really intriguing person to talk to. I planned on coming back and eating there again, but my trip was cut short.
I will definitely come back when I find myself in Billings again.

I've eaten sushi all over the world, this is the best. Great quality fish, great service, great atmosphere. I've come here for receptions, birthday parties, and any excuse I can to get my friends here. Always a fantastic place. The spicy tuna roll and the Dae's Famous roll are some of the highlights.

I wish I could give this place 5 stars, because it really is the absolute best sushi in Billings, but the quality of the service here is just awful. They usually have one waitress for the entire restaurant even on crowded evenings when there could easily be 12 tables. It can easily take 10 minutes to just get acknowledged by her, and then every time you need a beer it's another 10 minutes to catch her eye. It's truly horrendous. That being said.... it's amazing food. Expensive, but worth it. Never had a roll that was anything less than incredible. I will continue to come here but only when I'm in a very patient mood.
