We had reservations an entire year in advance, an also stayed at this hotel 4 years straight during Magic City Classic weekend without any problems. We had 2 buses full of people that where suppose to had rooms, an at least 5 didn't have anywhere to lay there heads. We started having some issues maybe a few months before we were due to stay, because of new management/owners.. Once we arrived our rooms were not ready, they had assigned rooms that were already occupied by other guest, they were serving others that were not apart of our party giving them rooms that should have been for us, once receiving our keys we found the housekeepers where still cleaning rooms, we had to wait in the hallways, an all this was after 4-5 pm. The staff at the service desk were very rude an unprofessional. We ended up having to cut our trip short a day because after the owners accepted our payment on Friday, came an told us they couldn't accept the form of payment the next day.. Some of our guest still had people coming into there rooms, the linens were not clean, an some of the beds had bedbugs, some of our guest experience bites to their skin, some rooms had mold, an the ice machines were leaking from the above floors. An the side entrances that are suppose to be secured an you can only enter with your key cards were not locked, any an everyone had access, even after midnight. Needless to say we will not be returning a 5th year. An that 1 star was very generous. Total nightmare!!

I wanted to say that I received excellent service at this hotel. I booked my room for the wrong night and they were able to make last minute accommodations even though it was my mistake and they were busy due to Talladega weekend. I am so grateful to the staff for helping me out so I could get my parents put up in a hotel despite that so many were completely booked and it was my fault for booking the wrong night. Thank you Ramada!

I visited twice in the same week. I had a great experience. Check in was easy, staff were friendly and helpful. I would visit again.

Appauling hotel. We arrived to less than friendly service at front desk, were pointed in direction of room and given no information about the hotel. We got into room which was fine, clean & comfortable but air conditioning unit was very noisy and the fridge was iced up and not cold. My partner went outside to have a cigarette and the security guard told him people kept shooting into the car park and he we planning on shooting them with his gun and catching them. Very disturbing as we had a ground floor room facing the car park. We had a very disturbed sleep with walls being paper thin it was very noisy all night and add this to the noisy air conditioning we overslept and left in a rush. We accidentally left behind a 200$ jacket and 50$ shorts and being favourite and expensive items we called hotel to see if we could pay to get them sent to us. We were told they were thrown in the trash. Most hotels will keep personal items at least a few days in case they are claimed. We got no apology just a "they were just clothes so we threw them in the trash" excuse. Very upset and would never stay here or recommend to anyone.

Rooms are not Queen beds as posted, they are full size. Lobby and restaurant still smell of smoke although its "smoke free". Value was good and rooms were good sized. Fortunately our room had a working TV as people said they didn't have tvs at all. Would have rated this as a 3 based on price but would not have booked the baby beds.
