I go there every Sunday. Always delicious, large portions, a lot of choices. Just to name a few: baked chicken, meatloaf, oxtail, collards, turnips, cabbage, corn, candi yams, mashed potatoes, dressing, rice, key lime cake, banana pudding, corn bread, rolls many more items on menu fast food items Tuesday through Saturday. Great customer service. Always friendly

Food was ok.. Collards were FULL of stems... In my family very littlecstems make it into our pot also had a lot of added sugar but everyone cooks collards differently ... Yams were ok but i wouldnt call them candied because there was no carmelization of the sugar..so it was cut sweet potatoes in sugar water... Thankfully they were NOT from a can... Cornbread was ok but a little harder than i like mine personally..... Meatloaf ..baked chicken and macaroni were all very good... Ordered a side cup of "chitlins"... Couldnt eat but a taste.. they still had a smell to them ... But i didnt expect perfection... Shame to throw away 6.50... Overall good experience and i would try them again during the week to taste the fried chicken.

Best Soul Food in Birmingham. Only way it could be better is if you cooked it yourself! Only place I will go for soul food. Ox Tails are great. Smother porkchops are good. Chitterlings are very clean and perfectly seasoned. Mac & cheese is always good. They have very meaty ribs and they are on point with a very flavorful BBQ sauce! Food is always hot! And they give good portions. I come all the way from Hoover when I don't feel like cooking and I want a good soul food fix. can't beat it.
