Food is superb. The space can get busy with a wait to order and find a table but it's worth it. One of my favorite places to take out of town guests because it still has that 'hole-in-the-wall' feel.

Maybe my favorite place in town to get Sunday brunch. Try the garganelli pasta with a fried egg on top - well try anything with a fried egg on top! Their espresso drinks are also amazing. Just make sure you mind the line. Don't sit before you've ordered (no saving seats in this place) and be courteous once you've finished your meal to those who are waiting for a table.

Popular downtown lunch spot. Had their t-bone and veggie pizzas today... they were delicious! Also known for their Sunday brunch. Recommend grabbing a table outside for some good people watching.

This is one of my favorite quick bites in downtown. There us an easy, affordable option of two slices and a salad if you are in a rush. They have daily specials which are delicious and pasta plates if you have a little more time. Order a beer or wine with your meal and enjoy the cozy atmosphere with friends. Top it all off with an espresso or cappuccino to get your afternoon kicked off the right way. Trattoria is one of the most consistently good lunch places in Birmingham, and that is a great niche to have.
