I must share my experience with all. Nine years ago I had breast cancer and Dr. Beckenstein was the doctor that took care of my breast reconstruction with implants.

Now, to the present day. Three months ago I was again diagnosed with recurrent breast cancer. I have been seen by numerous doctors from The Woman's Imaging in Denver Colorado, Slaon Kettering in New York and Johns Hopkins in Washington DC. Every single doctor and nurse that has seen my breasts are shocked and in total surprise to see how beautiful they look and always comment on the quality of work. Every doctor has asked me who my plastic surgeon was and I am so proud to utter the name Dr. Beckenstein. I was very happy after my surgery nine years ago but to have others comment and see the expression on their faces nine years later just makes me so happy. Now I am quite sad the a surgeon in DC will be ruining the works of Dr Beckenstein. I wish doctor Beckenstein could be my doctor once again but asking him to fly to D.C. Is asking a little much. In short, he is by far the best plastic surgeon you will ever encounter and for those that live in Birmingham-- you are blessed.

I have nothing bad to say. his staff is very respectful and try their best to get back with you as soon as possible. Dr. Beck wasn't anything but helpful

I haven't been seen by him yet. The appointment was at 2:45 and I have yet to be in his office. It's 3:30 and I'm in a second waiting room. There were about 13 patients sitting when I arrived so my mother and I had to stand. He may be a good doctor, but I'd have no idea, because I still haven't seen him. He overbooked horribly and I have a 1.5 hour drive back to school tonight. Very bad scheduling and even worse planning. If he makes up for it with incredible prices and incredible work we will see, but for now I remain unimpressed and pissed.

Dr. Beckenstein is not only the best plastic surgeon in Alabama, but an amazing person. I drive from Asheville, NC to see Dr. Beckenstein because I refuse to see anyone else! His staff is incredible and so caring. Thank you for your amazing service!!

Dr Beckensrein was a God-send for me. I had several breast surgeries that ended badly but he patiently worked with me and made an huge improvement. He was wonderful to my sister as well. I need to go see him again soon'
