Dr. Claytor is the MOST knowledgeable and compassionate vet that I have ever known. She has saved more than one of my pets' lives. I truly love her.

Would NOT suggest this clinic to anyone. The vet doesn't care about animals and doesn't take the time needed to properly diagnose animals. She also talks over you when you're trying to ask questions. Front desk employees do not know how to answer simple questions about medicines/directions. My cat had skin bumps and was sneezing so I made an appointment to see her. She didn't do any tests and immediately said she had contact dermatitis. It was actually a reaction to fleas. Not hard to figure out if she actually tested what was causing her symptoms. They gave her a steroid shot that did nothing but make her lethargic. I paid $80 for them to misdiagnose my cat. Never going here again.

Dr. Clayton has always taken great care of our cats and shown genuine compassion, both to the patients and to us humans. The staff are kind and professional and the clinic is always clean.
After one of our cats passed, they even sent us a condolence card. These are good people who care. 5 stars are not enough.

If you value your pets life DO NOT take them to this place or they will end up dead like my dog. Oxmoor's new Doctor is completely incompetent and should not be allowed to practice in this country. I believe her name is Dr. Murphy but it's hard to get her name when you only see her for a few minutes and she talks to you in her arrogant tone. Everything is extremely rushed, anytime you try to ask a question she just disregards you and keeps talking. Absolutely no attention to detail, because it's physically & mentally impossible to do that when you are constantly in a rush. How could you tell me that my Dog is not in distress when A) this is the first time you've ever seen him B) he is shaking like a leaf and his abdomen is swollen up the size of a watermelon! Sheer negligence or malpractice, whichever you would like to call it. I was given some pills and told to come back Wednesday...unfortunately my dog didn't make it til Wednesday. I rescued my dog almost 10 years ago and he was the most loving dog you could ever ask for, and he deserved better. This shouldn't have happened! Needless to say, our other animals will no longer be patients at Oxmoor Animal Clinic and I advise everyone else to either stay away or switch Vets. Dr. Claytor is not there very much now, the machinery is outdated, and the whole place looks like it's been neglected. But they did charge me $400 for that visit, and refused to refund that money.

Oxmoor Animal Clinic is THE BEST clinic I have ever used, and I have always had pets! Dr. Claytor has outstanding ability as a veterinarian. She is gentle and conservative with older animals. All of our animals have lived well into their teens and beyond under her care! The staff is knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. I recommend this clinic to everyone I know.
