I had an unfortunate experience where they charged me almost $300 more than my quoted rate. I had no idea this could even happen so I never checked my receipt until after I had dropped off the car. I took my printed confirmation with the original quoted price back to the rental car counter and they refused to refund me the full amount of the difference. Their claim was that they are not really a Hertz and apparently do not offer the same rates. However, I booked this specific location on the Hertz website. I would advise that you not rent here if you book online, as they do not necessarily honor the Hertz prices or discounts you think you are getting.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. There was an error with drop off location (which was hertz's fault). Got charged 3x the initial rent rate- ABOSULTELY rediculous.

It helps that I'm signed up with hertz gold but one of the most convenient airports I rent a car out of. Easy, efficient and friendly!

I have rented autos from this Hertz location about a dozen times over the last 6 years or so, and have always found their customer service folks to be excellent at their job. I have never been disappointed in the quality of my cars rented over the years,, and I plan on going back to the same counter on all of my future car rentals while I'm in Boise.

I was the last flight into Boise (12:11 am). The woman at the counter had three people in line which with the wait put me at 12:30 am - closing time. She informed me the car and been looked over and everything was good to go. I walked to the car and looked around it and no sign of damage so I took off. I stopped at a gas station to grab a drink and noticed a door ding. I have rented cars before and never has a door ding been of concern so I went about my business assuming with her statement and the size of the ding would be an issue. Even if I wanted to call the woman back the office is closed. Now I am being charged for repairs on this vehicle which I did not damage. The claims woman asked if I spoke with anyone at the kiosk, no there is no one outside, did you call, no the office is closed. So apparently be aware they tell you things have been checked over, but you still need to go through with a fine tooth comb. Also they do not make it customer friendly, since I would have to walk across the terminal to a potentially closed office if I would have noticed a door ding. Lastly they pawn the claims onto another company so you don't have a chance to discuss the legitimacy of damages directly.
