As a parent I find the employees to be very helpful in answering our concerns regarding our daughter. Of course HIPA prevents giving us private information w/o our daughters consent, but I find them caring & helpful.

I was there December 3rd - 27th and it was a life saver for me. My meds weren't working for me and I became psychotic again. This was my second time there. My first time there was also a life saver. The staff are very nice, caring, concerned, helpful, funny and very personable!! Any concerns I had were answered about my mental health. I had my own room, the food was excellent, and the other patients there were very nice. I highly recommend Safe Haven Mental Hospital to anyone who is feeling suicidal or feel they are out of control and need their medications adjusted!!!! They saved my life!

I called them to register for a visit.
I repeated the code to them 3 times and she kept saying that the patient can call me to give me their code.
Third time must be a charm.
I am shaking my head in disgust.
On the other hand, the manager there who I spoke with the previous day on the patient phone which the patient actually had to hand the phone to is very polite and is actually seems qualified to assist people.
The phone system works only half the time. There are problems with the phones even connecting in the first place. There are problems with audio quality. They use some sort of Voice over IP system.

Worked here as a house keeper. Never been so disrespected, bullied and it was a very hostile work environment. They treat the housekeepers like they are a piece of gum on the bottom of their shoe. We got piles and piles of laundry from the other staff working there and they never said thank you for doing the laundry and cleaning. No respect for each other and talk about the patients and laugh at them. They go against the rules and don't even follow the standards and protocols and do not care.
