After being Coerced into a left breast Mastectomy ; When a lump ectomy was all that was needed.I was given the option of DIep flap reconstruction But would have to travel to Salt Lake I was assured being a single mom and only caregiver of a disabled son. that our local Veyo agency would help with transportation and the support team at the Saint Alphonsus breast care Center would help facilitate that . instead what happened when I decided to go with the procedure that wasn’t offered at Saint Alphonsus I received no other assistance from my breast care treatment team; and essentially was on my own. I do not recommend this group if you are a single parent .In my experience I received zero support even when asking for help when it was needed the most .
