This is a cute, trendy little line-style food joint and is right next door to a neat, open-face bar. The food is tasty and the atmosphere is fun.

I've been coming here a long time and it seems like the slow slide just can't be stopped. Now I'm lucky to get a burrito that isn't a cold glob of cheese and sour creme. The flies are all over the place, which is exacerbated by the fact that the staff insist on taking your order prematurely, leaving it out on the counter like some kind of offering to the winged creatures. Each time I visit it feels like they are woefully understaffed...and the soda machines never works. This is especially maddening because if I'd known it was out of order again, I'd have just ordered something else rather than bother piling another task onto the employee.
I waited a few months and came back, only to find more of the same. This used to be my favorite lunch spot but I'm not sure how much longer I'll continue to return at this rate.

Parilla has it dialed in. Great menu, their food offerings are creative and show thought input. Their counter service can be inconsistent depending on new hires, but it's tolerable. I wasn't too thrilled about the separate bar and food service, but I'm used to the setup now. I've been going there since the late 90's, and will continue to do so. Thank God they haven't taken my favorite item off the menu!

Located in classic Hyde Park, Parrilla is one of the few remaining wrap places in town. All ingredients are made in house and very fresh. Even the tortillas are house made. Great selection of salsas and hot sauces. Wrap ingredients can be made into salads and nachos. They also offer a full bar and several TVs. Kids menu and high chairs available.
