Shangri-la Tearoom and Vegetarian Restaurant

This is one of my favorite lunch stops on this side of Boise. The food is very high quality and they are strictly vegan/vegetarian only. The tea selection is vast and presented in beautiful pots with tea lights to keep it warm. They often have live music but usually it is a really quiet, very peaceful little cafe-style restaurant.

Awesome vegetarian place. Great beer, wine and tea selection. Fund raiser going on as they are relocating but not far from current location. Come and support them! !

Delicious food. The quantities are very small though. My husband and I are thin people but we walked away hungry. My mock egg salad sandwich had a very thin layer of "egg" salad on it . The rice side dish was very small. Could have eaten 3 times the amount. A little disappointed. My husband said next time we need to buy 3 lunches for the 2 of us.

We needed to stop somewhere for vegetarian food on the way through Boise, and were so happy to find this place! I had a curry wrap, and my companion had the falafel wrap. Each was filling and delicious!!! Also, we loved that there was live guitar music. We sat outside, and it was a peaceful escape from the road!
