They say you can tell how good a burger is by the number of napkins you need to use while eating it. Speedy Burger gives you plenty of napkins and for good reason.
Their burgers are amazing. Grilled to perfection using very high quality beef. Their buns are fresh and really allow the burgers to be the star.
It's locally owned and not a chain. In addition to their delicious burgers, be sure to try their shakes or their deep fried jalapeños. You won't be disappointed.

1/4lb all beef, charbroiled patties, fries made fresh for every order, unique sides like fried mushrooms and fried zucchini, paired with a variety of different triple thick shakes - how can you beat that???
They even have a kids menu and different options like sandwiches and fish and chips for those of you who prefer things other than burgers.
Speedy Burger is family owned and operated so the owner and his kids can be seen smiling and serving customers everyday.
If you want friendly, fast, and accurate service Speedy Burger is the place to go.

I tried Speedy Burger based on the radio ads. When I heard the description of the onion rings and the buns they use, i just had to check it out. Somewhat disappointed. The batter for the rings, that they make themselves, really doesn't taste any different than the ones every other fast food stores use. If they are going to advertise it as amazing, it needs to be different and better. Secondly, the buns can be bought at any grocery store. Again, if you want people to come to you over McDonald's, you need to be better and different, otherwise you are just another fast food.

Had the large (3 fair size pieces) fish and chips (generous portion of the 1/4" standard square) $9.53 including tax. The fish had a good flavor of bacon in the batter, which was a big plus for me. Since this the only thing I have had from any Speedy Burger, I cannot speak about anything else from there. But that bacon flavor on the fish sure was a great surprise. One thing I would recommend would be that they change to an all natural in-house cut potato wedge type fry for at least the "chips".

This place is great! I walked in to be greeted by all the employees which i have rarely seen in other fast food restaurants. The staff is super friendly and as it turns out, they are family owned! You almost feel at home when employees are saying "mom i need this" or "dad make sure those are extra crispy." The food will change your life.. You can taste the home made flavor of the charbroiled burgers. I added cheese and bacon to be treated to one of the best burgers I have had in Boise, and the price is VERY reasonable. I finished my meal off with a mint Oreo shake and was thanked by the staff on my way out. I would highly recommend this place and you can bet ill be back for more!
