Lovely hall with wonderful acoustics, but make sure you avoid seats on the far side balconies. Sitting through a whole concert there will give you back aches and kinks in your neck!

Beautiful and amazing acoustics. We saw a live production of Amadeus and had to remind ourselves it was live music as it was so well timed with the orchestra. We were second balcony seats B42 and B41. Could see about 2/3 of the stage, but full view of the movie screen. Also if you are young(under 40) use the code when checking out "20under40". This will allow you to buy any tickets at $20 which is a great value and good way to spend a night out in the city. Good cafes nearby so grab a coffee and relax before the show!

It's a world class music venue, what more can be said? It's got what matters: Great acoustics and a decent view, even from the "cheap seats" in the top balcony. Convenient to the train, but parking is a frustrating exercise and not recommended--even though a subscription waives the $25 parking fee at the nearby garage.

One of the world's great symphony halls. We've been coming for decades. Tonight we are here for the Handel and Haydn Society's Amadeus Live, a presentation of the movie Amadeus with the music performed live.

My husband and I were looking forward to going to the symphony and listening to the Haydn and Mahler pieces on Tuesday the 26th. We very much enjoyed the Haydn Symphony 103. After listening to at least 4 to 5 wrong notes coming from the brass section, the Mahler piece sounded more like the conductor was having an uninspired dress rehearsal. We have tickets for a concert in March and I hope the quality improves by that time.
