BOSTON DENTAL

My family and I have been going to Boston Dental for over 8 years. Because I have been negligent for many years when it comes to my oral health, I have had lots of work done and have always found the front desk and dental staff professional, attentive and knowledgeable. I have also found Boston Dental extremely responsive to the times I needed emergency treatment and this is very important to me.
I like that my appointments are emailed to me with plenty of notice and I usually do not have to wait when I arrive for a visit.
Because I can be demanding and like to comparative shop, I twice sought second opinions from well-known Boston area dentists and both times Dr. El-Malecki's diagnosis and recommended treatments were confirmed. Just this year I went to BU Dental to get a second opinion on having two implants I was planning to have done. BU Dental confirmed the need for the work and quoted me substantially more than the price that Boston Dental quoted for the work. The BU dentist then complemented me on the front tooth implant that Dr. El-Malecki had previously performed in 2016 and remarked that the front tooth implant was the most difficult tooth to do well. That second opinion cost me $100 but to validate the quality of work and diagnosis of Dr. El-Malecki was well worth the price.
I'm somewhat analytical so I like that when I am in the dentist I can look up at the monitor and can always see a representation of all the work that needs to be performed as well as the work that has been performed. I find this very helpful and can readily refer to the display when discussing all work performed or planned. My x-rays are always visible on the display and I value the way all the dentists there explain what the x-rays reveal.
All in all I am grateful and pleased with Boston Dental and over the years I have referred many people. No one likes the dentist but I do feel good about getting world class quality dental work.

I've often praised Oscar's deft prophylaxis as fast, painless, professionally expert, comfortable, and friendly. Let me reiterate the incomparable smoothness with which Oscar moves through each tooth and swiftly cleans off each surface, vacuums fluid residues, and polishes each surface, then hands me a bag with fresh toothbrush, floss, and sample toothpaste in a bag with his handwritten reminder card for my next cleaning appointment. I'm all set, and you'll be happily 'all set' with your regular prophylaxis appointments at Boston Dental. Look: you'll see TLC everywhere throughout the business, including a small attractive potted plant in each service area. The reception desk is friendly and welcomes me when I arrive and wishes me 'see you next time' with a smile as I leave. Love it! Boston Dental! Now at two Boston locations, and soon at a third location overseas.

Great 1st visit. Kathy the dental hygienist was awesome! She was very knowledgeable and made me feel completely comfortable and at ease! She explained all the steps to me before she moved to the next one so you know what to expect. Not to mention it was the best cleaning I have ever received! Her cleaning was extremely thorough and not rushed. Last but not least she was discrete and maintained my privacy when explaining to the front desk women ( I want to say her name was Pam ? But I could be wrong) what work I would need done moving forward. She actually messaged her via their computer system and told her that I need a quote for said work, etc. Since the front desk and the waiting room are one room this made my experience that much better. Regardless of the work being done there is nothing worse than a waiting room full of people and office staff explaining your personal situation on what feels like a loud speaker. This discretion was very much appreciated. Plus when I got to the front desk the women had my quote in hand she stepped from around the counter where she was sitting and explained things to me and the payment process in a low voice.

I have been going to Boston Dental for about three years now and I absolutely love them. Not only is the practice incredibly clean and beautiful, but the staff are very friendly and make me feel totally comfortable whether I'm coming in for a cleaning or getting a wisdom tooth removed (which I did earlier this year and they made it SO quick and easy!). I have recommended Boston Dental to all of my friends and will continue to do so. I usually see Dr. El-Malecki and he is fantastic, but so is the rest of the staff, so you can't go wrong no matter who you're seeing!

I'm not one to write reviews...However, I feel compelled to write one. From the beginning the staff were friendly and courteous. They took time to fit us in and explain the services they were providing. (Trust me I asked a lot of questions.) They were patient and understanding, so they made me feel at ease. I can't thank Boston Dental enough.
