Great Urban playground on the banks of the Charles River. There is a large wading pool with a fountain and two well-equipped playgrounds. Picnic tables and benches adjacent to the pool are a nice spot to have lunch and enjoy a beautiful view of the river and the local rowers. People from many parts of the city come here so it can get crowded on hot days. Pool and playgrounds are fenced and gated and the pool has lifeguards on duty

Perfect place to bring young kids on a hot summer day. FREE! Pool with fountains that's not more than 2' deep. Another flat area with fountains for babies and toddlers - no depth. And two playgrounds enclosed by fences: one for younger kids and one for older. Plus free parking!! Awesome spot.

Great place to bring the kids, the water playground is perfect for a hot day and the playgrounds are fun and well maintained. Plus you have the Charles River right there.

Went with a one and three year old and had a blast. The two playgrounds were great and offered a variety of options for both kids. The streaming water features were intense in the wading pool and the water was a bit chilly, but it was 84 degrees outside so can't complain. Playing in the smaller kid water area was refreshing with less intense flowing water (still a bit chilly). The bathrooms were clean and the picnic tables were in the shade. This was an awesome day for everyone!
