Very nice place for people get together :-) !. I love watching kids playing with their parents and their friends as well as people playing soccer, baseball and volleyball.

When the hated & toxic factory closed here, the city went to extremes in the opposite direction, packing this civic amenity with basketball & tennis courts, a baseball diamond, imaginative playground, even a skating rink. Now it has eveything but park space, where someone could stroll among trees, picnic on the grass, and enjoy a getaway from Somerville's urbanized suburb. Here's a great place for families with kids of any age; not so much for couples or solo grown-ups.
