To my knowledge this is not called the "Edwards Playground" regardless of The Edwards School using the park as playgroud facilities. My understanding is that this is "Eden Street Park" and also contains the John J. Greateraux Tot Lot. This is a great park when it is clean and free from rubish that teens often leave behind on their late night weekend excursions. There is a street hockey rink, basketball court, the tot lot playground and swings, large field for other sports. The neighborhood has many outdoor movie nights and other activities as well. As long as it is clean and people with their dogs don't take over, it is a great city park.
