Not bad! Had the kara-age Curry bowl. Might look like a small amount but it will fill you up when you finish it!

Mostly, this resturant I went to is delicious and very good, I suggest tampopo don pork, the seaweed and sauce was spectacular. Although it was my time back in several years, there was a incident were they didn't cook my meat enough for my cuts/strips, some from this case were barely cooked or raw. Mostly from past experiences, nothing happened. Nothing bad from this place, I just hope they fix that mistake. Not to mention the food isn't expensive! :D

I live in California, I've been to Hawaii, and I've been to many Japanese places, but Tampopo still holds a special place in my heart. Small seating area, no-frills for sure, but extremely good. Definitely try the Katsutama, or the Sukiyaki!

We visit Tampopo for one thing, generally, and that's the excellent, homey tempura they offer. Though the batter may be less of a standard, dry-crispy style, it's the sort of dish that'll warm you right up. Seafood tempura udon was very good, with well-cooked noodles and well-cooked fish. When we go to the Porter Exchange for a meal, Tampopo is always a contender for a visit.
