Duck tours are a favorite of out of town guests, and for several years I have taken out-of-town friends and family on the now famous Boston Duck Tours. This time I thought I thought I'd try Super Duck Tours just to be different. Big mistake. They offer a parking discount if you park across the street and they validate your ticket. Well, I booked a party of 6 last Saturday ($240) and parked in the garage. Took my parking ticket to the Duck Boat and asked the driver to validate the ticket. He said he couldn't do it, I'd have to find the "guy in the green shirt" outside the boat. So, I did find the guy in the green shirt who said he couldn't validate the ticket "not right now - but when you come back from the tour I'll do it for you. I'll be right here." Okay, you guessed it, when we came back, he was gone. So a $13 ticket ended up being a $20 ticket. I thought maybe Super Duck Tours would refund me the difference, so I called. Tried five times, was put on hold each time for about 5 minutes before getting cut off. Never had a problem with Boston Duck Tours, which I always thought were pretty good. My advice: Don't take Super Duck Tours. Oh, the tour itself? Boring, mostly, full of historical omissions and inaccuracies (my wife is a former 4th grade teacher and kept rolling her eyes). I wish this site allowed for a no-stars option.

Do not take the "Super duck tour", go for the bigger tour company "Duck tour".
This Super duck tour company has no responsibility at all.
We only have one day in Boston, so we chose this "Super duck tour" instead of the "Duck tour" , it was a wrong decision made. Super duck tour supposed to provide Full land and sea tour, that was what we paid for, but they end up put everyone on the harbor for the whole time, no city (land) tour at all, the guid said because of the traffic was too bad, there has no city tour today, we have no other choice only harbor tour.
They should of give us choices either cancel our tour or ask us if we still want to only do harbor tour for the whole time. But they did not, because of we had paid already.
I contacted their office, the manager -Mark (the person on the phone), he's completely regardless with this issue.

Had a visitor from the west coast and thought this would be a good thing to do. It turned out even better than expected. Started out at the USS Constitution Museum, which was great. Interactive and knowledgeable staff. Took the trolley to the duck, a short drive, but the driver was telling us all about the area as we drove to the duck. Getting on the duck was easy and the tour guides were informative all the way. Great information, great comedy and great recommendations for sights, restaurants. Answered questions, told stories, and were truly genuine.
We really had a great time!

Our driver and the tour guide were very knowledgeable and entertaining. All age groups were onboard and these two hosts engaged all of us. This is a great way to see highlights of Boston and the time on the water was very relaxing -- bring a sweater for this part of the trip because even though we went in early July, this part is a bit chilly. The seats are a bit snug and can be uncomfortable if you're very tall, but besides this the trip is a lot of fun.

Worst part of our vacation was Super Duck Tour today. Most of us fell asleep and I could see many other guests feeling asleep as well. Not only us, the tour guide himself (first duck) fell asleep when the "captain" was speaking in the water (i even took pictures of him dozing off). I've taken Duck tours before in other cities and this one was clearly not how duck tours operate. Look for other duck tour operators if you are looking for any. Not this one guys. I only wish if there was a way to get our money back.
