Party place for the early 20's crowd. Plenty of fun for people watching. The bartenders are all great folks.
Edit: I have to edit my review to a 3 star after being drugged here by a drink I received directly from the bartender and never put it down. No clue who, how, or why, but be careful here everyone. I will not be returning.
Edit: Having heard from friends that the the IX had changed, I checked it out again and am happy to say that the concern raised in my previous edit has been dealt with, and a few measures put in place which actually make this a much safer environment.

Bar IX is definitely the place to be if you want a fun laid back environment. They always have something going on from a fun Tuesday karaoke night to Thursday Bucket night. Great prices and super good food. You won't be disappointed if you stop in Bar IX!

It's a mess late at night, but perfectly fine during the day. The service is pretty hit or miss, but they have a good happy hour (2 for 1s), which lasts all day Sunday. An all you can drink deal during Cat games. The service and food can both be pretty hit or miss. Good patio. Avoid comedy night at all costs.

Good service by the outdoor bartenders but kitchen manager scammed me out of the endless buffalo bites, nowhere does it say that ONE PERSON must eat the entirety of the chicken. I PERSONALLY paid for them to share with friends and was told by multiple people that a 3-5 person table could share. That is not the case. Go there for the drinks, not the food service. Kitchen manager was aggressive with us after just 2 plates. WENCH

Bar IX is one of my favorite places in town to grab a drink. The atmosphere is great, it's rare that I walk in the place and they don't have a solid DJ in the booth and they're staff is always friendly. My first choice when it comes to having a good time
