Grabbed my THREE YEAR OLD son by the chin and told him to, "Stop crying!" Entirely unexcusable! I was broken hearted when my little guy told me what he had been through, I still regret not making a bigger stink about it. I talked to another mom shortly after this that had recently found out (after taking her kids there for years) how rude he was to her kids as well.

We had just gotten dental coverage after not having it for a few years, so my son's teeth were in terrible condition. I was expecting a long lecture about taking care of his teeth, I didn't receive that at all. He just told me what was wrong and what needed to be done to fix it. It was surprisingly pleasant.

Dr. Todd is great with kids and we like him as a dentist. However, his office staff lacks the ability to provide quality costumer service. We provided updated insurance information during our visit, and they billed the wrong insurance for months. All the while, I contacted the office on multiple occasions to explain their error. Finally, we decided to submit the claim ourselves, and the insurance company paid their portion, but the dental office had added a $5 re-billing fee every week. $100 later in re-billing fees, we will not be returning to see Dr. Todd. 😔 Their secretary had the nerve to state that they had made attempts to contact me on multiple occasions, when in fact I had contacted THEM to sort through the issue, left messages and not once did I receive a call back. I hope everyone else has a much better experience, and that we were just the family that slipped through the cracks. We will miss you, Dr. Todd.

Couldn't be more pleased with Dr. Steinmetz and his team. We had a very young child need dental surgery and the whole experience was just about as smooth as it could go under the circumstances. The staff is also very attentive and helpful when it comes to billing, insurance, etc. The text based reminders are a huge plus that all medical professionals should be using these days. Great choice for your kids.
