I have been a patient here almost since they opened. I have read several reviews and have to agree with a lot of those who complain about the wait time. I think scheduling comes under Office Manager. I understand that a strict schedule is impossible to adhere to. I know that I have been one of the emergency patients that may have caused one of these delays. For that I apologize. I've been going here for about 7 years. I used to give it 5 stars and was very pleased with the service but in the recent year or so things have changed drastically. Lately every time I call when I truly have something that needs to be addressed quickly they can not work me in for many days (really, not with anyone in the entire office of 5 doctors and 2 PA's?). They keep saying I should go to an urgent care clinic. Then what is the point of them being my primary care physician if you can literally never see me when needed? It is also nearly impossible to get a live person on the phone. I just waited on hold for 17 minutes to be told to go to an urgent care.

I'm a nurse and I can tell you the clinical staff leaves a lot to be desired. Current patient there , having some important symptoms. Was told I could not be seen for at least a week. The "nurses" are unknowledgable and rude. I will make the 25 mile drive to Sarasota to my previous MD. He will see me same day.

Just a warning to anyone who wants to go here because my husband has been a patient there for almost 20 years but yesterday he had an appointment to see Dr. Angel Lliano but he wouldn't even come in the room and tell him to his face that he wouldn't see him as his patient because we lost our insurance. Dr. Johnson was his dr until he left the practice because manatee memorial bought them out. My husband is severely diabetic and has tacky cardiac and is out of all his prescriptions but they didn't care that he needed his medicines they told him to go to a free clinic and maybe they could help him. So I hope you will shop around before you or your love one come here and get treated like he did.

Each time I have visited I have found the waiting area clean, spacious and comfortable. My wait time has never exceeded 10 minutes then about 10-15 minutes in the examination room. The facility saves time and travel by taking blood on the premises. They do other tests on site. Dr Llanio and Dr Lamparelli listen well and give understandable answers. These are by far the best doctors I have seen in 35 years. The staff is efficient and has high professional standards. Referral appointments are handled on site. This is the most comprehensive GP site I have seen.
