They do really good work. Always pleasant and helpful. I dont have to worry about my insurance and i have all my policies with them so i just go by once every six months and deal with everything doesnt take more than 20 minutes.

I have only been with them a few months now, but so far they are very friendly and helpful. I really do not know a whole lot about insurance, so I ask a lot of questions and they are very patient explaining everything. I really don't like using the phone so I usually just stop by the office and they are always happy to help.

I've been with Hughes for years now. They've always helped me find the best deal possible for my home insurance, and have always returned my calls within a reasonable amount of time. Its great that they're local and I can stop by any time with questions. No complaints, recommended.

Decided to go with a different agency after running into several unnecessary difficulties with Hughes. They submitted/ not cancel an insurance policy despite my realtor notifying them so I received a letter of cancellation due to non payment. When I called to address this I was told they don't understand what my problem is it would fall off anyways. My problem was that I don't appreciate mail addressed to me saying I didn't pay something when this was done without my consent. All I asked for was the correspondence from Hughes to the insurance showing this was cancelled before the effective date so I could keep it on file with the cancellation notice given the non payment reason. To protect myself. When the correspondence couldn't be found I was told the realtor didn't notify them until after the policy effect date and there were some very unfair implications as to how much work I put them through and then not canceling it myself. It got very testy and it felt highly unfair. Our realtor was very firm in not wanting me to contact them again and that she wanted to handle it herself because it was her vendor. Called my agent that we had decided to go with because they treated us with much more professionalism to begin with and surprisingly our agent was able to submit the cancellation and take out the non payment wording whereas Hughes Insurance wasn't willing to submit anything and asked where my problem was to just let it cancel by not paying. Much sighing on the phone, saying "oh my god what is your problem" and putting me on a 20 second hold every time I said I didn't appreciate the way this was being handled. I feel incredibly disrespected by them and seeing how easy it was to take care of this by my other agent I am thouroughly disappointed in how I was treated.
