La Nova is a Buffalo area requirement when visiting. I remember eating here as a younger guy and while the place has grown the food is still some of the best pizza and wings in the Western NY (if not entire north eastern US) area. If your a tourist or just passing through go out of your way to stop here.

AWESOME!!!! Always very good to us. One of the best customer service experience ever. Order got confused over the phone, literally 2 mins later, poof made it happen. Food, outstanding.

A little bit pricey, long waits at times, and honestly not my favorite pizza in the world, or in Buffalo. That being said, the sauce has a unique, sweet yet salty flavor that I find myself craving from time to time. On top of that, the place is a neighborhood institution that's worth checking out for the scene alone. Probably not a top restaurant to visit if you're in town for a limited time, but certainly worth checking out if you're trying to find a new pizza spot in Buffalo. TIP: Don't order online. You won't get a time estimate and waits can vary drastically. It's better to just call your order in.

From Indiana, this entire town has been a bit of culture shock. I got out of my car at La Nova to two men yelling at each other about a newborn baby. I walked inside to a manager yelling at them "Language!" from inside the door, while taking an order from two Buffalo police officers. It was quite a site.
I was figuring it was just some overpriced pizza, the Mr. Food was over $25 for a large. Got home and opened it up, HOLY COW! This pizza fed four people, we could barely finish it. The pizza was delicious too. Very tasty with tons of toppings on top. If we are ever in Buffalo again we will b eating here again.

Called the W. Ferry location to order a pizza and pick it up. Lady on the phone says it will be about a half an hour. I show up to the counter about 32 min later and the man working says there was never an order put in at all under my name! No one even tried to help me figure out what was going on, they gave ME attitude thinking i was lying about placing an order. I just left. I called back and talked to the lady who had originally took the order and she said to give them another ten min. I already waited over 30 minutes! I hung up the phone. As a former west side resident for 30 plus years, ive never felt more insulted and will never order from here again. This place is a joke and has gone downhill big time.
