So I was told over the phone that they have no problem creating an organic meal...and I did, but not without my server acting way too bothered to ask the Chef what's organic on the menu. The server was too lazy, too rude and just plain stupid. The tip I left reflected her laziness and stupidity. To all other servers out there...we've had enough of you! You better start accommodating customers with a pleasant and eager attitude or you'll never get more than exactly what you're worth.
P.S. Stop mixing non-organic with organic ingredients!! Knock it off! You think true organic eaters are going to eat your contaminated organic meals? It's all or nothing!!

Awesome Vegetarian and Vegan dishes. Live music, nice ambient atmosphere. Excellent bar.

Food is good. Gluten free, vegan and allergen consideration is very nice for those who need it. Service leaves something to be desired. Sat down hungry in the late evening, not a full house. Was told that we had to wait fifteen minutes to put our orders in. Took forty five minutes after we ordered to get our food. No offer of something in case we were hungry enough to eat each other's faces off

I am biased bc live in DC, the only place along the East coast that serves a plethora of vegan food, but this place was way overpriced based on taste, options, service quality, and decor/ambience. I've been here once before several years ago and the food was great! This time we had to physically get up to find the server (who looked high or drunk) on multiple occasions and a lackluster meal for 4 people (and no drinks) came to more than $100 (and I was still hungry after eating my pasta dish!) In DC, okay... but Buffalo, NO! Plus every interaction with the staff, from the hostess to the bar staff was cold/distant. No way would I ever come here again when I visit home nor would I recommend to any of my vegan/vegetarian friends (or meat-eaters). I also wonder if some of the poor service was due to the fact that we were the ONLY people of color there. When my mom went in to grab a table the host asked if she could help her find something as if she must have wandered into the restaurant by accident versus by intent.

Absolutely disappointing. If you're going to be closed on a day you're supposed to be open, a message on your websiteor Google would be AMAZING!! But since they don't know how to accommodate their customers, I drove a half hour (after waiting a year to eat Merge because I live out of town now) and they were closed! No message on the door either! It's Wednesday at 6pm! Probably won't make another effort to go there.
