Very nice staff and facility, Dr. Felt very professional, proactive and thorough. Have had them do cleanings every six months and a fairly major reconstruction of a few cracked teeth, was always pleased. They provide you with a nice travel kit with a branded Oral-B toothbrush after every visit. Their billing for preventative services was always paid in full by my dental insurance (United Concordia High PPO plan).
Unfortunately, in 2017 they dropped off the "in-network" list for my insurance plan, resulting in new, and not insubstantial co-pays for all services. Checked with the office to see if they were "in-network" with any other insurance plans, and was told no, except for one procedure with Delta Dental.
Dr. Felt had suggested in the past to use an HSA instead of paying insurance premiums, which is good advise until you have need of an expensive procedure. Once you spend all the pre-tax funds in your HSA, the remainder of the bill becomes yours to pay. With insurance, those catastrophic (read expensive) procedures are at least partly paid for.
The office manager was understanding and accommodated my request for a copy of my dental records, pictures, and x-rays to take to an in-network provider. I wouldn't be changing providers if the new copay amount wasn't so significant. Insurance companies have their own ideas of what are "fair and reasonable" charges, and unless the dentist agrees to accept the insurance company's payment amount (in-network), you pay the balance.
Again, the service at Riverview Dental is impeccable, and the staff is without exception great at what they do, no complaints at all, and recommend Riverview Dental and Dr. Felt... just be prepared to pay the difference between what your insurance company will pay for a procedure and what the dentist office charges.

I love having my teeth worked on at Riverview, whether it is getting them cleaned, or having something done! I love the view and Dr. Felt and the hygienists are so nice!

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I don't like to go to the dentist but this bunch is wonderful. The view from the treatment room is great.

Not sure of Dr. care here because we were never given the opportunity to try. Asked for a consultation for an extraction and a temporary flipper but was given a full exam. This Dr. wants what HE wants not what the PATIENT wants. I understand a patient needs what he/she needs but can only get what he/she can afford. This Dr. refused any treatment because we didn't get all treatment he recommended. So instead of giving a patient what he/she can afford he will only give what is told. Sounds like he is all about the DOLLAR instead of patient care. Since I don't hate anyone or anything I will rate as a *Dislike*
