Very good bar-b-que. Great service from very friendly wait staff, just like people who call Carlsbad home. The hot links meal is out of this world and the brisket is always tender and juicy. Have eaten here at least 30 times over the last 6+ years and enjoyed every meal.

I had Red Chimney cater my wedding at a remote location in September 2017. Edgar and his crew were incredible to work with. They were great with setup. They were on-time, professional, courteous, thoughtful and—best of all—the food was delicious and piping hot. We opted for the full service catering. I would highly recommend their service. I wish them all the best in their future business.

The restaurant is decorated with many interesting items and the food is tasty. The BBQ sauce is one of my favorites. A bit pricey but these days most BBQ is. All in all a very good BBQ joint.

This place was awesome! Brisket and pork both very good and I liked their bbq sauce and potato salad was amazing best I've ever had hands down. Service was alright. Food made up for it.

Staff was genuinely friendly. Walked in for a to-go meal. Order was ready quickly despite all the other orders in and out. Food was excellent and portions were good.
