The cost of the sleep study $1300 out of pocket, after insurance was never discussed. Then, before consulting with my doctor, this company called and said my CPAP machine was ready for pickup. The hard sell was definately in place.

Staff was professional and very conscientious of my PTSD and made every effort to make me feel safe and comfortable. My technician was especially knowledgeable in her field as a Respiratory Therapist. Very positive experience.

I'm absolutely disappointed in this company. My husband went in for a sleep study. Spent the entire night. We paid over $1100.00 (high deductible insurance plan) only to find out that yes, he has Sleep Apnea and severe restless legs. They suggested treatments with one being a CPAP machine. HOWEVER, they require him to GO BACK for another sleep study to adjust the oxygen levels. (Why they didn't do this in the first sleep study is beyond me.) So after speaking with them, we have to pay ANOTHER $1100.00 for him to go back.
When doing comparisons around Cedar Rapids, be sure to ask if repeat visit to fit the machine will be necessary and what costs are involved. The comparison websites out there do not take this into consideration so the quotes you get may not be accurate. Had we known this place would charge $1100 and require 2 visits at that cost we would never have selected them for our business. NEVER AGAIN. I do NOT recommend them at all. We verified that most sleep centers only charge the initial large amount and if you have to go back it's very minimal if not already included in the initial charge. PATIENT BEWARE.
