Called Carpe Diem looking for a specific type of tequila my friend had requested for her birthday. Joe was BEYOND helpful!! Instead of just telling me that they did not have that brand, he looked it up in every database he had access to and found out that the brand in question isn't even sold in South Carolina! He then offered several alternatives and explained to me why South Carolina has so much red tape when it comes to liquor being sold in the state, which probably kept the brand my friend had requested from being sold here. He saved me hours of calling around trying to find it, for which I am so grateful. After such a positive experience, I am only going here from now on and recommending them to everyone I meet! Joe, YOU ROCK!

Absolutely my favorite place to stumble into when I need another fix of Benchmark, Rebel Yell Small Batch, or Captain Morgan's. Joe and Gloria are awesome and the store is spotless and always well stocked.
I highly recommend Carpe Diem if you probably have a drinking problem like me, or you just like like to have some conversation with nice people before getting turnt.

Joe & Jim maintain the friendliest atmosphere of any wine & spirits establishment I've visited in the Charleston area. They keep a very nice inventory for a store that size. It's a joy to go there.

I would give them my business just to talk to the man that was working there. He was so helpful and very funny. They also had a great selection.

Hands down, the packie with the best customer service and friendliest folks! Numerous times have I left the store smiling and laughing. Proud to call this my go-to packie for when the rocks glass is calling. Excellent selection and they'll even order for you on order days if you're craving something they don't have. Make sure to check them out on Friday afternoons when they have tastings in store.
