Dr. Doughty and his staff are wonderful. I have been going to them for a few years now. Dr. Doughty is so patient and caring. He explains every detail and makes me feel like he really cares about his patients. He walks me through every aspect of my dental care. Everyone in the group is so nice. They have ALWAYS made me feel welcome and calmed me through my crazy personal dental issues. My husband goes there also. In addition, Dr. Doughty takes great care of my daughter and her 5-year-old son. You won't find a better place to go - I promise!

Dr. Doughty and his staff are wonderful! I've never been a fan of the dentist but they made me very comfortable

Dr. Doughty is wonderful. Very pleasant and explains everything very well. I just had my first cavity filled and did not feel anything! I was so nervous but he is very skilled and told me what would happen first so I felt much better about it. Been going there for almost two years for check ups and he is always very nice. Office staff and assistants are all wonderfully pleasant as well!

Talking about a dentist alone gives me chills. Let me say it is not my most favorite thing going to a dentist. I mean come one, who like to go back to someone who may cause pain to you. Even though most of the time he takes my pain away. Since I moved around the world I have been to dentists in different countries and have indeed some experiences to compare Dr. Doughty with.

If I remember right I have been seeing him now since 2009 and had several procedures done. I have never felt that comfortable in a dentist chair before. The first time I met him was at a dentist office in Mount Pleasant before he opened his own office in West Ashley. I like convenience and even though his office in West Ashley is further away from where I live, it was clear to me from the moment I knew that he is opening his own office that I'll be traveling to West Ashley now instead.

Not just Dr Doughty himself makes me feel in good hands. The entire crew in his office is just awesome. I'm a very personal individual and love the fact that they know who I am when I call, email, Facebook message or walk in. It shows that this is not just a business but that they care about their patients. When my ex wife had a big procedure done, he would even call and check on her to make sure she is doing fine and has no after effects. Never ever seen that before anywhere.

To sum it all up:

Professional, great team, great work and results and most comfortable "dentist" environment I've ever been at and will always be at as long as I live in Charleston or close by and he his here. I hope one of his kids take over one day and continue the great work so when he retires and I am getting old I don't have to look for a new dentist :)

Oh, and another plus point... If you go early in the morning and your mouth is not swollen you may pick up a fresh box of Krispy Kreme donuts right around the corner. I have to admit, I have done it even with a swollen mouth but since they where "Hot & Fresh" and let them just melt in my mouth rather than chewing :) I know, pretty ironic that the Krispy Kreme is so close to my dentist.
