People laid out in the floor, some w the flu and covered w blankets.... 1.5 hr wait for someone with a ruptured appendix.

Completely unhappy!!! The first time I went in I was told I had a neurological disorder caused by the concussion I had received. And that if symptoms got worse to come back in immediately. Well within a week I had a seizure and confusion with memory loss. The EMTs took me to Summerville medical where the doctors recommended I go to musc immediately to see the neurologist. So we went and 8 hrs later with little change in my symptoms or condition the diagnosed me with " behavior problem, something probably didn't go her way and she threw a tantrum" TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT DIAGNOSES with in week of each other. I was utterly humiliated! Not a single doctor bothered to try and communicate with me. I will NEVER go back again! If they would of taken the time to even look up my chart they would of seen my previous visit but Seems like their head was too far up their asses.

Went in with a major problem. They released me and said a surgeon would follow up. They never did. Now I get a bill for $500 bc they didn't run it through insurance. Bunch of rookies.

You simply cannot find better care anywhere in SC. They are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, respect your time and great at what they do. I travel 2 hours to see them. Wouldn't have it any other way. I have complete trust in MUSC.
