Location is excellent and you can walk to the entire historic area. Rooms are very nice and beds are very comfortable. Staff is also extremely attentive. Complimentary champagne on arrival was a nice touch.

The Vendue is a great venue for rooftop goings on. With the limited amount of rooftops in Charleston one can't get too picky, but the Vendue is legitimately good. A split level roof with the top floor having one of the best views of the city. Would recommend.

Wonderful visit. All meals in drawing room were delicious. Rooftop bar was a great time, enjoyed meeting Julian and Gunny. Good location to sites we wanted to see. Only complaint is room was a little damp but it was very humid during our visit, room perfect otherwise. Hope to be able to return soon.

Rooms are fairly basic, but are nicely furnished and clean. Service is fantastic. The hotel is within walking distance of a ton of different attractions such as historic buildings and houses, market street, and waterfront park. Check out the rooftop bar for great views of the city and live music.

I loved staying at the Vendue. The atmosphere was very creative and artistic. The rooms are all unique. Ours had exposed brick wall. Visiting the rooftop bar was definitely a treat. All the employees are so very nice, and do not hesitate to greet you when they see you. There is a Starbucks inside the main building where guests get free coffee. And did I mention the complimentary sherry in the room? Great experience. Would definitely stay here again!
