Excellent bank. The hours are the best. Open till 8pm on SATURDAY!! I would like it if they offered the mobile check deposit, but I'm sure that will come. Excellent service and best of all, you can always get someone on the phone during regular hours. Love them!

First Reliance is a fine bank for basic checking, however with a recent deposit was put on hold for 9 days. The Asst Manager was going to call the other bank and clear the check but she forgot and after 7 days I went in and they said it will be two more days until the funds clear.

At my BOA business account checks clear the next am. I have two accounts with First Reliance and hope they can improve on the 9 day hold.

I use to bank with a huge national firm. I am so glad that I moved to First Reliance. It is the first bank that I have ever worked with where they know me by name. They are so much easier to work with than the big name banks. There is no comparison,

I have dealt with multiple banks in my lifetime, but First Reliance was one of the best. The staff treats you like a friend and they all know your name. If you are a trusted customer, they will credit your account instantly when you make a deposit. I had to switch to Wachovia after I moved out of the state, and I have been very disappointed ever since. I still have an account open at First Reliance, just for a backup. Strongly recommend!
