Visiting Charleston for the first time and ate at several restaurants. Anson has Fabulous service. Best Pecan Pie and Frid Chicken in Charleston. Katy is by far the nicest and best bartender. Excellent overall.

My wife and myself went here on the final night of our vacation. The place is very nicely set and comfortable. The menu I felt was limited and mostly comprised of seafood. If you are not a seafood fan I would check online at their menu. The fried chicken was amazing and I enjoyed my flounder. Along with the nice atmosphere the prices are at the same par. Expect for a couple of two to spend upwards of 80+ with any alcoholic beverages. This was just for us two with an entree and one beer.

Absolutely delicious food, pretty pricy for dinner though. I knew it going in so it was alright. Had some pretty good drinks as well. Classy atmosphere. Our waiter was very good as well.

Excellent all around. Steak, mashed potatoes, shrimp and grits, and the surprise of the evening was the almond bowl, which is basically an ice cream sundae with a waffle-cone like bowl made from hand-made sweetened crushed and rolled almonds. Hard to describe. Easy to eat. The service was also extremely friendly and attentive and they handled some of our more difficult questions with delight and ease. All around an excellent experience.
