Great food, large portiond and reasonably priced. I especially like the brisket sandwich and onion rings (they are huge). Usually order a small "Joe'" sandwich and one ring and it fills me up.

Ordered about 20 pounds of meat as well as a few sides for my wedding this past weekend. To my knowledge the pork was great sides were great however the pulled chicken had bones in it! I hope none of my guests discovered this as to I feel like that is very embarrassing! I’ve had pulled chicken many different places and never had this happen before. But everything else was great no complaints from my family on the pork or sides.

We were a party of 3. The fried catfish was bland. Fried chicken potatoes and Mac n cheese were decent. The deserts were not homemade. We didn't come all the way to Charleston for this.

Great experience - our first time. Large meat portions and very tender brisket. I suggest the platters. The combo platter of could have fed three people - lots of leftovers. Be adventurous and explore the southern fixin's. The collard greens are some of the best I've had. Hash over Rice was a great surprise.

This place has been in business since the 60s, and with good reason. They serve a great mustard-based pulled pork! The onion rings are huge, and their buffet on weekend night's is fantastic. Highly recommended for a bite of local flavor.
