The food was good and the service was excellent. I did expect a bit more flavor in the chicken itself since I had heard so much about it from others, very tender however. The sweet potatoe fries were on point though, definitely something to crave. Overall, a great product.

Best chicken sandwich ever. The flavors were complex but not overbearing. Fried pickles were also homemade and delicious. We'll be back!

Absolutely the best fried chicken in Charleston, get the not so waffle, as it come is great but I do Swiss cheese and bacon jam only, side of fries and a beer/soda will set you up right. Honestly it is the consistent quality that brings me back, (besides just plain good food) I must have eaten here 30 or so times this year alone and not once have I had a bad experience. Soon enough this place will be another reason to travel here. Come visit the battery, the history, and boxcar Betty's.

Best fried chicken sandwich to be found. I love the somewhat spicy Buffalo version. Grilled option now offered. Beer available. Don't miss pecan pie dessert. Furnishings meant to be rustic and simple but beginning to look dirty and worn. Parking can be challenging because of the popularity.
