"Good Plates" can take their "Real Report Card" back to whatever snobby place they came from; they're obviously out of touch reviewing a condiment rack; people care about the food and expect a pancake syrup dispenser to be sticky; I've never seen one that wasn't, have you? The table was clean and the food was great! In-house smoked salmon in generous helpings on an open faced bagel; my wife had nearly the same dish; eggs benedict on an open face biscuit sandwich. It's a humble and down to Earth place that seems to focus on making good food and lets the frills fall to the wayside; no surprise their name is "Foodies". We were stuffed and glad we visited before leaving town; we saved the other half of our breakfast and finished it on the road to Virginia. I overheard that they do catering.

The Real Report Card

1. Customer service was awesome😁
2. Food presented nice 🍴☺
3. Restaurant needs the face and interior to match the customer service
4. Items not properly (cold items) stored correctly
5. Unclean bottom layer of looking glass/ old food& stains in view
6. Dead roaches need to be removed as soon as possible
7. Wipe down condiments & remove trash from condiment area
8. No using hands as a scooper... especially without washing hands.( Cashier touched phone from in- coming ordering & come and scooped her hand in the pasta bowl and filled the quart container with pasta😵😰

Always friendly staff. Never super busy. Food is good quality. Affordable menu. Just a good quite place away from the busy downtown area.

I've never had anything here that wasn't great. They have catered events for us and we have also had lunch in their small dining room. In fact, I have a take-and-bake pot pie to put in the oven tonight! Great people, great place.
