Small portions for a high price. When I spoke to the general manager he said my dish was "rich" which is why it was the size of an appetizer. $24 for possibly 24 gnocchi and one "jumbo" lump of crab. It was also my 1 year marriage anniversary which they were aware of and instead of making things right, they felt the need to argue their point. Both my husband and I work hard for the money we have and I didn't expect to be short changed to such a degree. Not to mention, they were short staffed and had 86ed three dishes. A change in management both in front and back of house is needed. I hope the owner is aware of this.

Best pizza in Charleston in my opinion. By far too.
Skip waiting for a table and go to the bar if you get there before 9pm.
Quiets down and is a nice relaxing atmosphere between 930-close

Went here for an anniversary dinner based on recommendations from Charleston natives. This was by far the best Italian food I have ever had. I got the gnocchi (with jumbo crab meat) and although the portion size was initially a little shocking, I think I will dream about that dish forever. Also, has a huge selection of wine! Don't miss out on this place if you're traveling to Charleston.

I wasn't wowed by going here for a friends birthday dinner. My sister got the gnocchi entree and for $30 it was not nearly the right portion size. It was literally about 4 bites. I got a pizza, which was great, nothing special. We also split a bottle of wine, and for 3 ladies it wasn't even 1.5 glasses each for $50. Food was good, but overall it was just an overpriced downtown restaurant. I've had better.

Really interesting Italian cuisine. Don't be afraid to ask questions about the menu. Based on three visits, I have found that staff are very informative and make excellent reservations. I always order three courses when I go! On my most recent visit I had a whole fish with a unique pasta. It was fantastic.
