Ive been here a few times but lately its been on tuesdays for trivia and the service on the patio is amazing...they are always in point...best in charleston hands down!!

10/10 best sushi in town. Once a bartender there tried to hit on my girlfriend, but other than that I absolutely love this place. Great staff, decent prices, and the opportunity to eat sushi in a sports bar environment without a bunch of goofy traditional decorations and music. Highly recommend.

Omg I have never been so sick. I am still sick. Food poisoning happens so I wouldn't normally review poorly for it but the complete lack of concern from the staff is what caused me to make an exception. I ran from my table leaving behind my credit card with my friend to finish my payment and told our server I was sick and had to leave. I then rushed outside to vomit beside my car (parked directly in front of the restaurant!) my friend comes out and helps me, then goes back to ask for water, still no concern for my health, finally when I can stand my friend tells the hostess this is food poisoning they should do something and she asked how much I had to drink, she was told I had left my one drink at the table untouched. The hostess goes for a manager who never comes. Since my objective was to prevent others from becoming sick, I felt I could do that from my home instead of sitting on the pavement waiting for management and probably more successfully too.

I love this restaurant and come by on Monday nights every other week or so. It seems they've added some team members to the support staff (hostesses, food runners, etc) lately and not necessary for the better. Most of them seem to really not want to be there... no smiles, eye rolls, etc. Furthermore, is it now common practice to stuff your face with chicken nuggets at the host stand while greeting customers? Keep in mind this does not apply to the whole staff. But it's definitely been noticed. I hope it gets better. The great food and service provided by the wait/bar staff will keep people coming, but a warmer welcome would sure be appreciated.

OVERALL - Great food, extremely weak bar drinks, mediocre service.
Food: My wife and I split an appetizer and three sushi rolls. The appetizer was quite unimpressive for the cost, but taste great nonetheless. The sushi rolls were all excellent and we could not be happier!
Drinks: I initially ordered a vodka tonic (my stand-by bar drink when I'm feeling indecisive.) The vodka tonic came out seemingly sans-vodka. I don't mean weak - I mean non existent. I switched to bottled beer for the night.
My wife ordered a Moscow Mule... same story, taste like straight ginger beer. She sipped on it for the rest of our meal.
Service: Our waitress was very polite and relatively attentive. In her defense the place did get pretty busy - which was when some forgetfulness became apparent. Overall no complaints with her service.
I get it - it's Mount Pleasant so obviously food and bev are above average cost. Good sushi, fun atmosphere, just another place.
