I've been going here for years. I love it. Beautiful spa environment. Very friendly staff. Wide selection of organic products and services!

Thank goodness I waited to arrive at this place before buying the Yelp deal, because I arrived at 5:05 for a 5:30 appointment that I booked via their reservation email and was told that my slot was given up to someone else because I didn't provide phone number or credit card. (Now walking back to work - which I left early for this - in the rain.) They were not transparent about this requirement for booking. We had been back and fourth twice via email (4 emails), and they waited until 9:30am today to email me and say they needed credit card or phone number to secure the reservation. At that time, I am working with limited access to personal email. They did email again shortly after 2pm however I am still at work at that time and still have limited access to personal email. Totally unacceptable. Given that sugaring is a specialized service that isn't readily available elsewhere, shouldn't it be especially important to exercise good customer service? ESPECIALLY for new clients? If I had been pleased with my service today, I would have become a returning client. Because of this establishment's lack of consideration, I will NOT be returning. There's more to being a business owner and therapist than the actual service provided, however, which includes communication with clients. Without more direct communication and upfront transparency about their policy (or policies), they're going to continue to lose people.
The girl sitting at the front desk was super sweet and professional, and the only positive part of this experience (if I can even say that), so I made sure she knew that I was not upset with her - I'm truly disappointed in the policy and the lack of communication from the establishment.

After my sugaring experience at Sweet 185, I'll never go back to waxing! The staff was friendly and the interior design is so welcoming. They did a great job of making me feel comfortable, and they're very professional. My sugarist (I believe her name was Christina) was great at her trade and made the experience better than I could have hoped. I plan to return soon!

Good spot right on King street. Bought my fiancee a gift certificate and staff was friendly. Pricing is quite high but may be due to location.
