What makes cone 10 so special? So much!
For me, here are just some of the reasons why it is:
Cone 10 is a dedicated clay community. The gallery space is at the studio entrance featuring the work of the members, a sampling of the range of possibilities in clay…
Cone 10 has classes for students at all levels on the wheel and in hand-building. Instruction is informative, insightful, backed by experience and individualized. The ceramic artists at work there welcome all visitors. Owners and members are friendly and encouraging to all the students.
I have been taking classes in hand-building with Holly Benton [awesome] continuously since the fall of 2012. Still at it! I have learned so much in my classes and also from the collective wisdom that is available when you work among such an interesting cross-section of individual artists who love clay.
As a former elementary Art teacher in four states, I easily recognize the kind of climate that fosters growth and creativity. Cone 10 has it. And more.
