Rent Charleston and their staff are unprofessional, unreliable, and unethical. While renting, my roommates and I had serious issues in our home that Rent Charleston's staff handled in an untimely and unprofessional manner. Their "emergency" hotline is a voicemail box that, from our experience, is rarely checked. After multiple missed appointments from maintenance and countless amounts of damages done to our own personal belongings, Rent Charleston is attempting to charge us inadmissible fees from our security deposit. If you are a student I would advise renting through another agency, this company will attempt to cheat you out of every penny they can and is not worth the hassle.

Rent Charleston was a great company to lease with. All of our maintenance issues were addressed quickly and it was always easy to contact our leasing professional for our needs. In particular, John was always willing to help to make sure we were satisfied with our renting experience.

Moving into the apartment complex wasn't the best experience based on the previous tenant. But, Jenny D has been amazing! Every time I've contacted her she has responded fast and the problems have been fixed within 24 hours!

Very happy with my experience renting from Rent Charleston. They were extremely reasonable people and easy to work with. When my a/c broke in July on a Friday afternoon, they had the repair company to my apartment by the end of the day. My property manager was always available and responsive.
