We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Tommy. We had the day before gone on a carriage tour and bus tour of Charleston and neither compared.

Tommy did a fantastic job explaining the Why to the history of Charleston. Why are certain houses built the way they are. Why certain ethic groups had influence on the town. And on and on. I would recommend his tour to anyone who wants to get an often Witty, honest and fact filled account of this wonderful town.

I loved this tour and feel like I learned a lot. Tommy did a great job of explaining the perspective of Southerners before, during, and after the civil war. It gave me a new and more robust understanding of that time period in history as opposed to my previous view that came only from high school lessons. Tommy was kind, friendly, and personable. The tour was fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone.

A local recommended Tommy's tour and I am so glad we participated. Tommy gave us a fascinating tour of sites and historical background. We saw historic homes and churches and theaters and he told wonderful stories to make the history come alive. He was very considerate about trying to keep the group in the shade on a sultry day. Our group loved the tour and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Charleston!
