Thanks to Dr. Southard Jr for taking such good care of my boys Chappy and Doc. The ladies at the front are always sweet and take the time to answer all my questions. Having worked in the vet field myself for many years, it's nice to have an office that is passionate about the welfare of animals as well as upfront with pet owners. We also use them for occasional boarding, so it's a win win for us, thanks for all you do.

Dr. Southard Jr has been such an awesome vet! He is knowledgeable and friendly. I recommend everyone with a pet to go see him for any vet needs.

Our family has been taking our pets to Air Harbor Vet. Clinic for over 15 years. The father-and-son veterinarians, Drs. Southard, are good diagnosticians and have wonderful bedside manners. They are willing to thoroughly answer every question we ask and offer helpful information to educate us as to our pets’ maladies. They have performed routine care, urgent care and surgeries on our pets. Both veterinarians have called us at home, after hours and on weekends, to check on the welfare of our ill or recovering pets. The vet. techs are warmly welcoming both in person and on the phone. They have provided guidance to us numerous times. We are grateful that the entire staff is caring, compassionate and knowledgeable. Thank you, Air Harbor!

I have seen both Dr. Southard Sr. and Jr. with four different dogs for a period of over 10 years. I have nothing but good things to report. Both doctors have never hesitated to go above and beyond when I had a sick dog. When I have a well dog, I have always received a thorough "report card". If you are really interested in the information, Dr. Jim Sr. explains the issues and test results and writes it all down for you. He has explained how to make a muzzle out of dog leashes, more easily administer medication and get my rain-shy doxie to do his business (!). He is a wealth of information due to his years of experience. Also, I never feel like I am the victim of a plot to pad the bill and the staff is friendly and efficient.
