Dr Kennedy treated my brother while he was a patient at CHI Memorial Hixon, TN. I will be forever grateful for his wisdom in treating him. My brother had suffered terribly for 28 years due to Bipolar Schizophrenic disorder. He had been placed in mental hospitals over 25 times and when he arrived at Memorial he had respiratory failure due to over medication.Dr Kennedy immediately recognized that he was over medicated and stopped all meds and then placed him on only 2 meds. Long story short, my brother is now doing great and hasn't been hospitalized since and it has been almost a year! He doesn't have bad side effects, so he is willing to take the meds. For the first time in 28 years my brother has hope for a normal life. God bless you Dr Kennedy. You're our hero!
