Harlem Health is a disaster! I signed my son up for insurance, but was told I didn't pay my premium, even though I paid in advance from my due date. My son was dropped from coverage because of what they claim is "non payment", however, Harken Health's customer service is the empitome of hell on Earth. Next, they issued a refund for the premium that I did paid, but they sent the check in the name of my son, even though EVERY SINGLE OUNCE OF PAPERWORK came in my name. It was ridiculous!! Never will I trust Harken Health again. I wish I could give this place zero stars.

First visit took over two hours. I actually walked out before my dr visit was over because I was late for work. Which I told them when I arrived I needed to leave by 3:30. In any case the dr then called me in my car after I left the office to discuss my condition. I had to hang up as I was frantically driving in traffic trying to get to work.

I have to say the doctor did call for the next two days to make sure I picked up my prescription and then I was feeling better.

My second experience with Harken was just ridiculous! I made an appointment for my son at 3:00 on a Friday at the West Loop location. I received two voice messages asking if he could change the time because the doctor wouldn't be in. The choices are 9:00, 11:00 or 2:00 I return the call requesting a 2:00 appointment.
The next day I get a call from the office confirming the 3:00 appointment, which I tell them I thought the 3 o'clock was canceled and I choose 2:00. She proceeds to tell me there is no 2:00 appointment available, I ask about the 11:00 or 9:00 she proceeds to tell me they have none of those times available at their office but at Wicker Park. I never called the Wicker Park location to make the original appointment , I called South Loop. Ok, so she will check with the doctor and call me back that day... she never calls back.
I called later that day and was confirmed the 3:00 appointment which I said "are you sure the doctor will be there?" After a moment for her to check I was assured the doctor would be available.
That same day I'm driving to work and receive a call from the South Loop office asking what time I would like to change my appointment to as the doctor will NOT be available at 3:00! WTF!!! Does the right hand know what the left hand is doing??? Idiotic and I can't believe I'm stuck with them for year with a premium over $700 a month.

The toll free number is a joke. I have never had a person answer. Left my phone number to hold my place in line & NEVER received a call back. Tried that system three times.
Once I called the toll free number and was offered 40 different sales pitches from vacation packages to gift cards!! OMG I called back thinking I dialed wrong. I didn't

I would rate them -**** if possible

Great facility for health care the deducible is not bad me and my wife pay less than $400/month and get unlimited services for free (you need to go to the site to see what they offer) I'll take this any day over conventional insurance plans with costly doctor visits!
