Neat and clean, we had a reunion here with perfect results. Safe and secure. Very spacious, could use lighting and parking.

Great place to fly your drone. Large open field, easy way to get all the way into the park, so you are able to pull to the center and get out to a large area. There is basketball courts and other sport activities. Great one area park for having fun, flying drones or walking the dog. Large open area with lots of street parking. Close to shops and the university.

A nice park to go to if you're in the area. Would not go here after dark and the neighbourhood is not the safest but the park itself is safe. Love that spring awakening has been here 2 years in a row! The cops keep.tge festival very safe and the neighborhood also looks out for the festival goers.

Pros for a music festival here:
-Great view of the city
-seems like a large sized park
-sort of a basketball court landmark
Cons for a music festival here:
-not enough space to actually space things out well and make a good path for fest-goers, let alone if it's a high volume music fest, expect there to be no where to sit or relax away from the shows
-garbage... everywhere... before and after the fest
-dust (the grounds are not maintained and it causes dust storms after any large amount of people occupy the area for a day)
-poor central area to place the festival, you generally have to walk 2 miles before you can get a taxi/uber because of all the main roads they have to block off for the fest, and parking nearby is about as far of a walk as well.
-there are very few trees or other tall objects to provide any shade. Be prepared to sweat all day
Cons depending on who hosts the festival:
-poor placement of all stages/food/vendors/water stands.
-Limited space for restroom facilities, as well as anywhere to really sit.
