A fishing spot. Make sure you have permit conservation police actually write tickets! Place a bit dirty and so called river walk is nondescript. If you see teens with backpacks they are taggers. They graffiti the area . nice spot to smoke and relax.

Very enlightening when originally created. A pivotal coop project with the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago, this art project recruited talents of local students and visually tells the history of the Chicago waterways. A great art piece to experience, but my last visit several years back revealed gang graffiti and a lack of maintenance that would make even the boldest of persons leery. Be selective about solo and evening visits. Tall native grasses conceal park activities from street view.

Native plants, an interesting history, an acceptable if industrial view, and am occasional whiff of old Bubbly Creek.

This place is real nice it has scenic views next to the Chicago river it has lot of places for fishing and the long corridor provides a place to jog walk or just simply find peace and quiet.

The best little hidden park in Chicago. Check out Canal Riverwalk Park just across Ashland when you are here. Well worth a visit.
