Great Farmers market with plenty of vendors. Both produce stands and prepared food abound. Get there early to beat the crowd. I love that each stand has a sign about the vendor and a map showing how far away they are from the city.

Best farmer's market in Chicago! You can find organic vegetables here cheaper than the supermarket. Unique finds like best ketchup and tons of samples to try from make this market a great weekend destination!

I am a huge fan of Farmers Markets in general, but there is an extra special place in my heart for Green City Market. There is the perfect balance of made to order food (crepes, sandwiches, pizza, mushroom tamales, smoothies), fresh produce, and herbs/flowers. Every one seems to be passionate about their stands and willing to help. The set-up of the booths are well thought out with most of the food to be consumed on the spot in one central area. The lines are never too long and there are so many good options!
