I got carryout, so I can only speak to the food and brief service in carryout.
That being said, this place is affordable and what I got (Yellow Curry Chicken as well as Homemade Chicken and Peanut Egg-rolls) was fantastic. Clearly made on the spot with fresh ingredients, but prepared very quickly. Just the right amount of asian heat with a variety of ingredients. My to-go order was done in about 10 minutes. The staff that I encountered were very friendly.

Very clean, positive, and great customer service. The food is also not greasy, and the best aspect is that they use firm tofu instead of silky or cheaply-made fried versions that you find elsewhere. The only negative is/are the cocktails. They taste like fruit juice, so I never order them at this point.

I've been looking in Chicago for a long time for a good Asian restaurant and a friend of mine suggested I go to this place. The individual who took my order extremely friendly and the food was ready early! I strongly recommend you give it a shot and I will come here many times in the future it's excellent!

Thank you so much to Michael Crane and our server Michael. It was our first night in Chicago and they were so nice and helpful. They thoughtfully answered all our questions and when two of our appetizers were ordered they graciously gave us one on the house. Michael Crane also gave us a free dessert as it was our first visit. Everyone in there was so helpful and nice. Great atmosphere, wonderful people and delicious food.
Michael really made our day, we will be telling everyone about how great Big Bowl was. Thank you Michael!

this place was absolutely amazing! this was my first time in chicago and i had no idea where to go so when i saw this place and went in and i was not disappointed! the service was absolutely amazing, food was amazing, they gave us a free dessert and a free appetizer! would definitely come back, thanks to Michael Crane, the manager and Michael, our server for the amazing service and for making our trip the best yet !
